ÄKTA ready™ Single-Use Chromatography System
ÄKTA ready™ is a single-use liquid chromatography system built for process scale-up and GMP manufacturing. The single-use flow path minimizes the need for cleaning and cleaning validation, allowing for quick changeover between productions and reducing the risk of carryover. The ÄKTA ready chromatography system offers the performance and documentation required for use in a GMP-regulated environment.
Choose from four standard configurations. ÄKTA ready system (isocratic or gradient) includes a UV 280 nm detector and essential functionality that is suitable for purifying mAbs or recombinant proteins. The ÄKTA ready variable UV system expands the capabilities by including a three-wavelength variable UV sensor (206-700 nm) and an integrated single-use pH electrode to enable closed processing. This system is ideal for separation of full and empty AAV capsids and nucleic acids such as plasmids and mRNA. ÄKTA ready extended provides additional sensors and valves as well as an integrated human-machine interface (HMI).
Flow kits
ÄKTA ready Low Flow Kit is for columns less than 20 cm in diameter with flow rates up to 175 L/h. ÄKTA ready High Flow Kit is for columns over 20 cm in diameter with flow rates up to 510 L/h. The UNICORN™ software installation wizard guides the user for flow kit installation.
ÄKTA ready is part of the single-use chromatography system family from Cytiva, which are designed to work seamlessly with ReadyToProcess™ prepacked columns.
