During Mass Brigham General’s 2021 World Medical Innovation Forum (WMIF), I had the opportunity to participate in a virtual Fireside Chat titled “Partnering Across the Cell & Gene Therapy Spectrum” with Marc Casper, CEO of Thermo Fischer Scientific. During our discussion, Marc answered my questions about how time and capital radically impact innovation in the cell and gene therapy sector. We talked about best practices in partnerships between CGT companies and the service providers with whom they partner. We also talked about how to better align manufacturing capacity with the pace of innovation, and much more. We covered a lot of ground in our 20-minute discussion, which you can view here.

If you were unable to virtually attend this year’s WMIF, or if you want to revisit the sessions, be sure to visit their site for event materials, as this year’s event was chock-full of valuable information for every professional in the cell and gene therapy sector. Set aside time in your schedule for next year’s event, which will take place in Boston, May 2-4, 2022.
