Flow Cytometry Solutions

Flow cytometry is a powerful and versatile technique to analyze the physical and chemical characteristics of cells or particles.
This method allows the generation of large quantitative datasets of multiple parameters on a single cell level at speed. Flow cytometry measures fluorescent conjugated primary antibodies or probes associated with cells, building the foundation for quantifying and identifying various cell types and their cellular functions.
In research and clinical settings, flow cytometry is widely used for immunophenotyping, assessing cellular compositions of samples, evaluating cellular function and health, and isolating selected cells by sorting and in biomarker and drug discovery.
Examples of cellular function studies are met-flow, which analyses the metabolic state of immune cells by investigating the expression of key proteins and rate-limiting enzymes, and phospho-flow, which is commonly used to determine the phosphorylation level of a protein of interest. The advantage of using flow cytometry over other widely used applications for cellular studies is the ease of multi-parameter analysis and the option to investigate specific cell subsets in samples.
Fluorescent conjugated primary antibodies
Conjugated antibodies labeled with fluorescent dyes enable direct staining protocols, saving you valuable time by eliminating the need for secondary antibodies. This minimizes potential errors and variability, giving you consistent, reliable results. Additionally, conjugated antibodies enable easy multiplexing in a single step, allowing simultaneous detection of multiple targets within a single sample, which enhances data richness and efficiency. Recently (April 2024), the first 50-color flow cytometry immunophenotyping panel, OMIP-102, was published. Conjugates are key for such a large one-step multiplex panel.
Build your multiplex flow cytometry panel with our flow cytometry antibodies that target both intra- and extracellular targets. We offer unconjugated flow cytometry antibodies, as well as antibodies with: Alexa Fluor®, R-PE, APC, PerCP, and tandem dye-conjugated flow cytometry antibodies. Our range also includes isotype controls and secondary antibodies.
Carrier-free antibodies
Carrier-free antibodies offer flexibility in conjugation, allowing easy labeling to various labels, like fluorophores, enzymes, or proteins, to meet specific experimental needs. These antibodies are also highly compatible with applications where carrier proteins might interfere, such as functional assays, in vivo studies, or when combined with other proteins or peptides.
Carrier-free antibodies are specifically designed for antibody labeling, saving you time with a simplified protocol. The antibody is added directly to the conjugation reaction, avoiding antibody loss without the need to perform buffer exchange or concentration.
By combining carrier-free antibodies with our Lightning-Link® kits, conjugation has never been easier.
Conjugation kits
Conjugating primary antibodies can lead to antibody loss and take up valuable lab time. Our innovative Lightning-Link® labeling technology enables the direct labeling of antibodies or proteins without need to purify, providing a straightforward solution to traditional conjugation methods and delivering efficiency from discovery to development.
Our Lightning-Link® conjugation kits are easy to use and allow you to conjugate antibodies in three simple steps to more than 45 labels including fluorescent proteins commonly used in flow cytometry (Alexa Fluor® dyes, tandem dyes, oligonucleotides, metal isotopes).
To generate high-quality conjugates choose from our range of carrier-free antibodies and antibody pairs specifically designed for antibody labeling. We offer 10,000 formulations free from glycerol, BSA, and sodium azide to reduce antibody loss and maximize conjugation efficiency.
Our conjugation kits require just 30 seconds of hands-on time so you can focus on your research. With access to a broad range of labels, from fluorescent dyes and enzymes to metal isotopes, gold nanoparticles, and DNA barcodes, they’re ready to be used with our 13,000 conjugation-ready carrier-free antibodies, giving you the ultimate flexibility to design and complete your experiment.
Flow cytometry assay kits
Our assay kits provide you with standardized reagents and protocols, ensuring consistency and reproducibility in experiments. Browse our range of cell viability and proliferation assays, mitochondrial potential stains, and dyes for cellular components and discover how they can help you analyze cell health, division, cycle, and metabolic state.
Accessory reagents
To further corroborate your results, we offer ancillary products, including permeabilization and fixation buffers, cell lysis buffers, live-dead cell assay kits, fixable cell viability kits and DNA stains.
Cell isolation kits
Our widely-used isolation kits allow you to separate B cells, T cells and exosomes from biological samples while maintaining the health and physiology of delicate cells of interest. Our T cell isolation kits and B cell isolation kits do not use magnets/columns for a faster, easier workflow, resulting in higher separation yield and reproducibility across experimental runs.
