Cell Freeze® Freezing Bags For Cryogenic Storage

Cell Freeze® is a cryogenic freezing bag solution specifically designed for the cryopreservation of hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs). These freezing bags are engineered to withstand storage in liquid nitrogen at a temperature as low as -196°C, ensuring the long-term preservation of valuable cell populations.

Individually packaged in Tyvek, the Cell Freeze® bags are constructed with a single-layer polyolefin film pouch. The bags feature two membrane access ports, facilitating convenient handling and transfer of cells during storage and retrieval processes.

Notably, Cell Freeze® has received 510(k) clearance and CE marking for the storage, preservation, and transfer of HPCs in liquid nitrogen. This makes it compliant with regulatory standards and ensures its suitability for use in clinical and research applications.

To ensure product integrity, Cell Freeze® undergoes rigorous testing, including leak tests, microbial challenges, and dye immersion tests. Furthermore, its quality and performance have been evaluated using HPCs, including MNC and CD34+ cell types suspended in 10% DMSO, yielding an average viability cell recovery rate of over 70% post-thaw.

Overall, Cell Freeze® cryogenic storage bags provides a reliable and efficient solution for the cryogenic storage of HPCs, ensuring their long-term viability and maintaining their therapeutic potential for various applications in regenerative medicine and cell-based therapies.
