Cell Expansion System Supports Proliferation Of Regulatory T-Cells While Conserving Antigenic Phenotype

This study shows how Quantum^® is providing T-cells with an ideal environment for growth, efficient in expanding many cells quickly, and enhancing regulatory T-cell characteristics. Evaluate the expansion of isolated Tregs in a hollow-fiber bioreactor across 3 donors for an average yield of 7 × 109 cells. Further, 97.7% of cells possessed a memory Treg phenotype and demonstrated an 8-fold greater IL-10 stimulation index compared to Tregs from flask culture controls following cryopreservation and restimulation.
