June 24 |
The Cell & Gene Tech Expo is designed to help professionals from cell and gene therapy sponsors and contract manufacturers find the right equipment and solutions to support drug development.
By addressing key needs in the CGT pipeline, this virtual event gives partner companies a valuable platform to showcase how their innovative products and services can help CGT developers overcome challenges and seize new opportunities.
This live, virtual event is free for Cell & Gene readers and offers a convenient alternative to in-person conferences, which can be costly and time-consuming. Attendees of past virtual events consistently cite the ease of evaluating partners directly from their screens as a major benefit.

The schedule is shared about three weeks prior to the event by the production team or your business development contact. However, the order may change at any time—be ready to present at any point during the session.

Presentation Format & Guidelines
Will I be on-camera?
Yes. All presenters must be on camera during their live presentation.
Is the event live or pre-recorded?
This is a live event. Pre-recorded presentations are not accepted.
Can I include video content?
Yes, but with limitations:
- You may include up to three short videos (2.5 minutes max each; 8 minutes total) within your 15-minute segment.
- Videos must be product- or solution-specific. General company overview videos are not permitted.
- Alternatively, you may display a video link on screen for attendees to view on their own time. If used, this will replace the slide deck download option for your session.
How many speakers can present?
One presenter per company is standard due to platform limits. If you’d like more than one, please notify us by the "Presenter Info" deadline. We'll accommodate if possible.
Presentation Content & Structure
You have 15 minutes to connect with the audience. Consider these proven approaches:
Suggested Format- Company Introduction (1–2 minutes)
- Keep it brief—1–2 slides max.
- Product or Solution Overview (4–6 minutes)
- Highlight key features, benefits, and how it addresses industry challenges or trends.
- Delivered live, on camera, with slides.
- Demonstration (Optional, 6–8 minutes)
- Use a live stream, screen share, VR, or approved short videos to show the product/solution in action.
- Avoid general marketing content—this should be technical, practical, and specific.
- Live Q&A (1–2 minutes)
- The moderator will facilitate.
- You may supply backup "seed" questions in case the audience doesn't ask any.
- Inappropriate or difficult questions will not be presented live.
- You’re welcome to offer to follow up directly if a question is better answered offline.

What should I use as my asset?
The most effective asset is typically a PDF of your slide deck. Other options include:
- Video
- Brochure or fact sheet
- White paper
- Relevant webpage URL
What is the optional poll question?
Polling is a great way to engage your audience and gather insights. You may submit one custom poll question, which will appear as a pop-up during your presentation.
After the event, you’ll receive all responses—including contact details—to help your team better understand audience interests.
What do I need to submit a poll?
- Your poll question
- Response type:
- Multiple choice
- Select all that apply (up to 12 options)
- Free-form text (cannot be combined with other formats)
- Response options (if applicable)
- Result visibility:
- Keep private (most common)
- Share on screen (only percentages are shown, not individual identities)
- Timing:
- By default, the poll is launched after your opening remarks.
- If you'd like to display results live, specify when (e.g., “Show results at slide #7”).
What makes a good poll question?
- Quick and easy to answer
- Relevant to your presentation topic
- Engaging and insightful (not overly promotional)
- Helps qualify leads (e.g., top challenges, buying priorities, brand familiarity)
Need help crafting your question? Reach out to your Business Development Manager for suggestions.
How do I submit it and by when?
Submit your poll question via the Materials Submission Form by the listed deadline.
How is it delivered to the audience?
Our technical producer will push the poll live during your session. It appears as a small, moveable pop-up and will not interrupt your presentation. A quick “ding” may sound. We recommend verbally encouraging participation when the poll appears.
What response rate can I expect?
Typically, 15–25% of attendees respond.
When will I get the results?
Poll results (including respondent contact details) will be provided within one week after the event.
