Ultimus® Single-Use Process Container Film

Ultimus^® film was created to meet the needs of challenging single-use applications, including large-volume liquid processing. This cutting-edge technology features a novel strength layer, reinforced by woven nylon, that provides enhanced bag strength, improved durability, and leak resistance. An ultra-low density polyethylene (ULDPE) fluid contact layer within the film supports healthy cell growth and demonstrates a low extractables profile. This layer is free of animal origin components as well as Irgafos^® 168. Additionally, the multi-layer film includes a gas barrier layer comprised of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH), low-density polyethylene (LDPE) outer layer that helps minimize the formation of leaks, and strength layer, positioned between ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) layers, that substantially enhances the film's overall durability.
