TARGATT™ Rapid And Efficient Transgene Integration Technology: Stable Cell Line Development And Generation Of Large Mammalian Cell-Based Screening Libraries

The TARGATT™ site-specific transgene knockin technology offers a highly efficient platform for stable cell line generation and mammalian cell-based library screening. This advanced method builds on proven transgenic mouse model techniques and involves creating Master Cell Lines engineered with an integrase recognition landing pad called “attP” located in a carefully chosen, safe harbor, intergenic locus. The TARGATT™ integrase then facilitates a precise, unidirectional recombination between the attP site in the cell line and the corresponding attB site on the donor plasmid.

This targeted integration results in the gene of interest being inserted into a specific locus with exceptional efficiency, which is crucial for generating large library sizes. Additionally, the technology ensures that only a single copy of the gene is inserted, which provides consistency and stability in gene expression while minimizing potential disruptions to cellular function. By combining precision and high efficiency, this technology enables researchers to accelerate their studies with reliable cell models, improving the quality of data and the translation of basic research into potential therapies.
