Stability Of Supplemented PRIME-XV T Cell CDM At Room Temperature

This application note evaluates the stability of cytokine-supplemented PRIME-XV T Cell CDM when stored at room temperature for up to 72 hours. Recognizing that temperature excursions can occur during shipping or preparation, the study investigates whether such conditions impact the medium’s ability to support T cell expansion. Using PBMCs from two donors, researchers assessed cell count, viability, and surface marker expression across media stored for 6, 24, 48, and 72 hours. Results showed consistent performance in cell proliferation and marker expression, with no significant degradation observed. These findings provide reassurance to end-users that the supplemented medium remains effective even under non-ideal storage conditions.
For labs managing variable workflows, gain valuable insight that can help reduce waste and improve confidence in medium performance.
