Solis BioDyne, one of the leading reagent suppliers in Europe, manufactures PCR/qPCR reagents and specifically a ribonuclease inhibitor used for COVID-19 RT-qPCR diagnostic tests. Previously manufactured at bench scale, the company now needed to quickly increase production 50-fold to meet the demand of COVID-19 tests. Solis BioDyne faced two challenges: safely producing this large volume and maintaining a very high quality.
