HyClone™ Prime Expression Medium is a chemically defined, animal-derived component-free solution designed to support high-density growth and robust viral production in HEK293 cell lines. It enables consistent adeno-associated virus (AAV) titers across multiple serotypes—achieving over 10¹¹ vg/mL without enhancers—and demonstrates compatibility with both PEI and lipid-based transfection methods. The medium is optimized for scalability, showing linear performance from shake flasks to 10 L bioreactors, and is available in both liquid and powder formats. With stable L-glutamine and poloxamer 188, it supports cell viability above 10⁷ cells/mL and offers reduced aggregation in sensitive cell lines.
