Refeyn has introduced the SamuxMP, an analytical instrument which has been designed to analyze adeno-associated virus (AAV) samples. The device precisely determines the empty/full capsid ratio in samples of any AAV serotype in a cost-effective, simple to operate way that provides faster results compared to traditional AAV characterization techniques. The SamuxMP tool is compatible with various AAV serotypes and does not require the virus to be labelled or modified for analysis. It also works well with buffers typically used in AAV purifications. Learn more about this tool and it's relationship to mass photometry.
