Changing The Tide With Fully Integrated Environmental Monitoring Systems
By Patrick Dorman, Automation and Electrical Engineering, Senior Manager, G-CON and Blake Denney, Automation Engineer, G-CON

Building management systems (BMS) are a critical component of cleanrooms. They control the environment and personnel/material flow so that cleanroom conditions are properly maintained. An environmental monitoring system (EMS) works alongside the BMS ensuring that the critical environmental conditions, such as temperature, pressure, and humidity, are tracked during the operation of the cleanroom. During cleanroom design, the first consideration is the process equipment needed for manufacturing. The manufacturing process defines the environmental requirements, which in turn determine BMS design requirements.
Critical information about the component in your cleanroom and a fully integrated environmental monitoring system can help your organization move forward with manufacturing pharmaceuticals and meeting requirements.
