AST Announces New Business Development Representatives

Drew Hoffman
Automated Systems of Tacoma, LLC (AST), a leading provider of flexible aseptic filling systems, announces the addition of two new members of the Business Development team. Drew Hoffman, located in St. Louis, MO, joins AST as Senior Director of Business Development serving customers in the Midwest and Southeast regions of the United States. Mico Holguin, located in Chicago, joins AST as Senior Director of Business Development serving customers in the United States West Coast and Pennsylvania. Keith Dodson, Vice President of Global Business Development, will continue to lead AST’s Business Development team during this exciting and innovative time in the Pharmaceutical Industry.

Following his honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps, Drew Hoffman has amassed over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and CDMO space, having worked for companies such as Elan Pharmacal, Sanofi, DPT, and Catalent. Over his career, Drew has helped his customers identify, scope and successfully implement technical services, in addition to identifying capital equipment needs.

Mico Holguin
After 8 years on active duty with the United States Army, Mico Holguin has spent 32 years in commercial pharmaceuticals with a parallel career of over 19 years in the United States Army Reserves. Mico’s pharmaceutical experience involves commercial positions at Abbott, Cardinal Health, Catalent and Baxter. Over his career, Mico has helped his customers develop proper expectations in order to successfully implement strategic programs. 22 years were specifically focused on sterile drug manufacturing, as well as assisting in reviewing capital equipment requirements.
